The pavement surface from number 58 to the junction of West Street with Hop Gardens is a 19th-century feature made of plain and patterned brick. This pavement is associated with the buildings numbered 58 to 76 (even) and 35 to 39 (odd), as well as with the listed walls and pavements on West Street near the entrance to Adwell Square.
