BICESTER MARKET SQUARE SP5822S (North side) 3/70 No.17 20/03/70 GV II

Shop and dwelling. C17. Timber framed with brick infill; old plain-tile roof. Gable-fronted plan. 2 storeys plus attic. Front has a 3-light casement at first floor and a 2-light window in the gable (both renewed) and at ground floor has a built-out shop front with a C20 bow window; to left, the entrance to an alleyway with has turned wooden column set into the wall of No.18 (q.v.) to left. A slightly higher roof to rear runs parallel with the front. Interior not inspected.
