Description
College Farm Cottage is a house, likely once divided into separate units, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared marlstone with some ashlar dressings and features a concrete plain-tile roof with brick stacks. The building has a three-unit lobby-entry plan and consists of two builds, standing two storeys tall plus an attic.
The front elevation has a regular arrangement of three windows, which include large three-light casements with ashlar flat arches. There are doorways located between the first and second bays, as well as at the extreme left, both aligned with the stacks. Above the right doorway, there is a blocked single-light window, and to the left of it, a straight joint is visible. The steep-pitched roof is topped with gable parapets. The right end wall features a pair of windows on the first floor, along with another blocked window in the gable. The rear of the cottage has additional casements. The interior has not been inspected.
