Description

Calder Cottage is a small house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared marlstone and features some wooden lintels, topped with a concrete plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The front has two windows, with the entrance positioned to the left of centre. On both floors, there are two-light casements to the left and three-light casements to the right, although all except one have been renewed. The window to the left of the doorway has a stone flat arch, and the roof is steeply pitched. The interior has not been inspected.
