Description

This is a small house, likely dating to the early or mid 17th century, with later additions. It has been subdivided. The exterior is built of coursed squared marlstone with wooden lintels, and has a Welsh-slate roof with brick end stacks. The house originally comprised two main units, with an additional range to the rear. It is two storeys high, plus an attic. The right-hand side of the two-window front, which appears to be the older part, retains a first-floor wooden casement window with three lights and splayed mullions. Other windows are 2-light casements from the 20th century, except for a gabled hall dormer on the right which has a 19th-century casement. The front door is positioned to the left of the centre. The roof is steeply pitched. A further early casement window is found at the rear, and a smaller wing extends from the left side. The interior has not been inspected. The property is included on the list for its contribution to the group and historical context of the area.
