Description
Middle Corner Cottage and Turret Thatch are two small houses, likely built in the early 18th century. They are constructed from coursed marlstone rubble with wooden lintels and feature a thatched roof with brick stacks. The buildings have a two-unit plan and rise to two storeys. The front, which curves, has four windows. In bays two, three, and four, there are renewed three-light casements on the ground floor and two-light casements above. The entrance to Middle Corner Cottage is located between bays three and four, while the first bay has a small window positioned at an intermediate height. The steep-pitched roof has stacks to the right of bays one, two, and four, and bay one has a lower ridge. The rear of Turret Thatch includes a rounded stair projection. The interior has not been inspected.
