Description

Manor Cottage is a house dating from the 17th to early 18th century, constructed of limestone and marlstone rubble with wooden lintels. It features a concrete plain-tile roof and has 20th-century brick stacks. The building has a three-unit plan, likely with a cross passage, and is one storey plus an attic.

The front of the cottage has a plank door located to the left of the center, accompanied by a three-light casement window and two small windows to the right. To the left, there is a two-light casement window and another small window. The first floor includes two rebuilt half dormers. The roof has stacks positioned at the left gable and just to the right of the entrance.

Although the interior has not been inspected, it is likely to feature a large stack backing onto the passage. The cottage is included for its group value.
