Description

Rose Cottage is a small house dating from the early 18th century, with a 20th-century extension. It is constructed from colourwashed limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a thatch roof and brick stacks. The building has a two-unit plan with added end outshuts and stands one storey plus an attic. The front has two windows, each with two 2-light casements on the ground floor and three 3-light half-dormers above. The entrance is located at the extreme right. The roof includes stacks on the left gable and in the centre. The interior has not been inspected. This cottage is included for its group value.
