Description

The Cottage is a small house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed from colourwashed limestone rubble with squared quoins, and has a thatched roof with brick gable stacks. The house follows a 2-unit plan, with a later outshut added to the rear. It has one storey and attic space. The front facade is regular, with a 2-window arrangement, and a doorway positioned to the left of centre, flanked by sash windows, all with stone wedge lintels. There are two 2-light casement dormers in the roof. A 20th-century extension has been added to the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
