Description

Lipscombs is a small house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with timber lintels, topped by a plain-tile roof and featuring brick gable stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and a rear outshut, standing two storeys high. The front has two windows and a door located to the left of centre, with three-light casements on both the ground and first floors. There is a 20th-century single-storey extension to the right. The rear of the house has small casements. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer and beams that have chamfer stops.
