Description
No. 2 Spring Lane is a small house dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of colourwashed limestone rubble and timber framing with plastered infill, topped with a thatched roof and brick gable stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and is one storey plus attics. The front, which has two windows, features a plank door located to the right of centre. There are flanking three-light casements and three-light dormers, all of which have been renewed. The front and rear of the house are timber framed at the first floor. To the left, there is a projecting stone chimney, and to the right, a later brick stack. Additionally, there is a rubble and tiled gable outshut to the right with a hipped roof. The interior has not been inspected.
