Description
Weston Manor Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with possible elements from the 16th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a thatched roof that has brick ridge stacks. The cottage has a four-unit plan and is one storey plus an attic. The front facade is irregular with four windows, including a central doorway flanked by 3-light casements and 2-light casements in the outer bays. There is a second entrance at the far right. The first floor features three 3-light dormers, and on the extreme left, there is a small single-light dormer with a spandrelled stone window, which may have been reused. The roof has a gable parapet on the left side and stacks positioned to the left and right of the center. The left bay may be older than the others. The interior has not been inspected.
