Description

Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, with roofs covered in Welsh slate and concrete plain tiles, along with rubble-and-brick gable stacks. The building has a three-unit plan with service wings and stands two storeys tall plus an attic.

The front of the farmhouse includes a central six-panel door, a three-light casement window to the right, and a two-light casement window to the left. There are also two-light windows on the first floor in the second and third bays, with most lintels being stop-chamfered. The left gable wall features a large chimney projection, which is partly concealed by a short outhouse range. A short two-storey kitchen range extends from the right side of the building.

At the rear of the main range, there are larger casement windows, including an elaborately-moulded four-light window on the first floor that retains its central ovolo-moulded mullion. Inside, the farmhouse has heavy stop-chamfered beams, some of which intersect, an open fireplace with a curved back, spiral stairs leading to both upper floors, and a moulded-plank door. Fewcott was formerly part of the Parish of Stoke Lyne.
