Description
One Hundred is a house dating from 1637, as indicated by a datestone, with a 20th-century extension. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with wooden lintels and has a concrete plain-tile roof featuring brick gable stacks. The house has a three-unit plan and is two storeys plus an attic high. The front has three windows, with old two-light casements on the first floor (two of which have leaded glazing) and a three-light casement along with two 20th-century French windows on the ground floor. The steep-pitched roof includes two hipped roof dormers. The right gable wall displays the datestone inscribed "IW/1637". The rear has been updated with renewed casements, and a 20th-century rear wing extends from the left side. Inside, there are two open fireplaces, stop-chamfered joists and beams, a spiral staircase leading to the attics, and fielded-panel doors and shutters. The 20th-century range is not of special architectural interest.
