Description

Mary's House is a house dating to 1835, as indicated by a datestone. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone with ashlar dressings, and has a Welsh-slate roof with brick stacks. The building has a 3-unit plan and a symmetrical 4-window facade. The entrance is located in the third bay and features a 6-panel door set beneath a flat arch with a projecting keyblock and a pedimented canopy supported by wooden octagonal columns. The windows are 12-pane sashes, also with flat arches. The roof is shallow-pitched with four stacks. A central datestone is inscribed "HB/1835". The interior has not been inspected.
