Description
This building is a row of four cottages that have been converted into one dwelling. It dates from the early 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The structure is made of coursed limestone rubble and features a steeply pitched thatched roof, with brick stacks at the ridge and ends. Originally designed as single-unit plans, it now presents as a long rectangular building with a single storey plus an attic.
The attic has four windows, and there are three blocked entrances with wooden lintels, along with one entrance that has a 20th-century door and a wooden lintel. The ground floor contains four metal casement windows in wooden frames, featuring two and three lights, all with wooden lintels. The first floor mirrors this with four similar windows. Most of the windows include lead cames, crown glass, wrought-iron casement fasteners, and wooden lintels. At the rear, there is an outshot with a thatched roof.
