Description

No. 18 is a cottage located on Main Road in Newton Purcell, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a steeply pitched thatched roof with a brick stack at one end. The cottage has a single-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic. The entrance is off-centre to the left and includes a plank door with a moulded wood frame and wood lintel. To the right of the entrance, there is a 2-light wood casement window with a wood frame. The left gable has two 2-light wood casement windows, each with wood lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
