Description
No. 21 Stottingway Street is a small cottage that dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is attached to a larger building and constructed from coursed Portland rubble with a thatched roof. The cottage is a one-storey and attic structure with one bay. It features a three-light eyebrow casement window that retains some early leading, positioned above a three-light former shop front with shutters and a concrete lintel. To the right of the shop front is a 20th-century door. The rendered gable on the left side has an 18th-century brick chimney stack. At the back, there is an eyebrow dormer window with a small two-light casement. The interior has not been inspected.
