Description
This is a house located at 10 Main Road, dated 1662 according to a datestone. It has 20th-century alterations and additions. The building is made of coursed squared limestone and features a thatched roof. It has a two-unit plan, stands two storeys tall plus an attic, and has a two-window range. The entrance is flanked by two 2-light metal casements set in wooden frames, with lead cames, wrought-iron casement fasteners, and wooden lintels. On the first floor, there are two 3-light metal casements also in wooden frames, with similar lead cames, wrought-iron fasteners, and wooden lintels. The house has two roof dormers. Inside, there is a stop-chamfered beam, a wooden winder stair, an inglenook with a chamfered bressumer, and a bread oven.
