Description

Barton Grounds Farmhouse is a 1788 building constructed from rubble stone, featuring timber lintels over its openings. It has a slate roof and end stacks, and it stands two storeys tall with an attic, arranged in three bays. The outer bays contain three-light wooden casements, while the central bay features a door with a timber porch that is gabled and slated, along with a two-light casement above it. There are paired leaded casements located in the gabled dormers. Above the door, there is a date plaque inscribed with "W.L. Esq. T.E.T....? 1788."
