Description
House located at 17 Main Road, built in the mid-18th century with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It features squared coursed limestone and a steeply pitched thatched roof with vergeboards. There are brick stacks at each end. The house has a two-unit plan and is two storeys high with a three-window range. The entrance, which is approximately central, has a panelled door with an arched stone head above it. On either side of the entrance are two-light metal casements set in wooden frames, also with arched stone heads. The windows have lead cames, crown glass, and wrought-iron casement fasteners. The first floor includes a single-light window and two similar two-light windows. The interior has not been inspected.
