Description

Elms Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with some origins from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with an ashlar front and features a brick end stack. The building is L-shaped, with two storeys plus an attic and a three-window range. The approximately central entrance has a 20th-century door, a wood frame, and an open iron-work porch with a canopy. This entrance is flanked by 20th-century windows in original openings, which have keyblock stone lintels. On the first floor, there are three similar windows with two and three lights. The farmhouse also has rusticated limestone quoins and 18th-century leaded casements at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
