Description
Cadwell Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and brick dressings, topped with a gabled old tile roof and featuring brick end stacks. The building has a three-unit plan and is two storeys high with a three-window range. There is a segmental arch over a 20th-century door, which is flanked by one-light openings and has a 20th-century timber porch. Similar segmental arches are present over 20th-century casement windows. The farmhouse also features three late 19th-century roof dormers. Inside, there are chamfered and stopped beams, although the roof has not been inspected. To the right of the main structure, there is a one-storey-and-attic two-window range made of limestone rubble with brick quoins and dressings, along with a mid-19th-century brick bay to the right.
