Description
Evergreen Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a plain-tile roof from the 20th century, with brick end stacks on rendered bases and a stone ridge stack. The building has a two-unit plan that has been extended to three units. It stands two storeys tall with an attic and has a three-window range.
To the left of the centre, there is a four-panel door with panelled reveals, a pilastered wood surround, and a dentilled pediment. The ground and first floors have 20-pane sash windows with stop-chamfered wood lintels, except for a small one-light window to the left of the door, which is a 20th-century addition with a concrete lintel. The farmhouse also features 20th-century gabled stone dormer windows. The gables are stone-coped and have kneelers. The left bay of the building is an addition to the original structure, still marked by a stone-coped gable on what was once the left end wall.
