Description
West Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a plain-tile roof from the 20th century, along with brick stacks at the ends. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, displaying a four-window range.
The entrance is located to the right of centre and is accessed through a 20th-century gabled porch. The ground floor features tripartite sash windows at both the far left and far right, each with wooden lintels. There is also a three-light casement window to the left of centre and a 16-pane sash window in the centre, both with wooden lintels. The first floor mirrors the ground floor's window arrangement, with similar windows, except for a single-light window to the right of centre.
The farmhouse is accented with ironstone quoins, stone-coped gables with kneelers, and three gabled dormer windows. The interior has not been inspected.
