Description

A pair of dwellings, originally a farmhouse, dating from the late 17th century and altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with a plain-tile roof, a brick and stone ridge stack, and a brick end stack. It has an L-shaped layout. The two storeys and attic are arranged with a two-window front. A six-panel door is located to the left of the centre, featuring a moulded wooden surround and a straight hood supported on brackets. A gabled cross-wing on the right side has a three-light casement window to the ground floor, with a wooden lintel. There are two-light casement windows on the first and attic floors, also with wooden lintels. The gables have ironstone copings and kneelers. A single-storey extension from the 20th century is attached to the left. The interior of No.2 has a chamfered spine beam and an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer.
