Description

House, divided into two parts. The left part dates from the early to mid-18th century, while the right part is likely from the 16th or 17th century, with later alterations. The left part is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble with a steeply pitched thatched roof and a brick end stack. It has a 2-unit plan and two storeys, with a 3-window front. An approximately central entrance has a 20th-century thatched porch, flanked by blocked fixed-light windows with 20th-century pointed arches. The first floor has a single window and two 2-light wooden mullioned and transomed windows, all with wood lintels. The right part is single storey plus attic. The ground floor has an arched garage entrance on the right, and three small 20th-century pointed windows and a 20th-century window. The attic has three eyebrow dormers and a larger dormer. Inside, the right part features a wide inglenook fireplace with a chamfered bressumer and bread oven. A chamfered spine beam is also present, along with a partly original roof displaying principal and common rafters and collars.
