Description

The Old Vicarage, now a house, dates to the 18th century with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble, with a raised slate roof and renewed brick ridge and end stacks. The building has a three-unit plan and two storeys, with a four-window front. The central right entrance has a 20th-century door set beneath a stone lintel. The ground floor features three tall, two-light wooden casement windows with wooden lintels. The first floor has four similar windows, including one blank window. A 20th-century skylight is also present. The interior has not been inspected. An attached wall, also of the 18th century and built of coursed ironstone rubble, stands approximately four metres high. The wall is included on the list for its group value.
