Description
Glebe Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched imitation stone slate roof laid in diminishing courses. The gables are stone-coped with moulded kneelers, and there is a brick stack at one end and a stone ridge stack. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys plus an attic high, with a two-window range. The entrance, located on the left, has a renewed door set within a moulded wood frame and is topped by a gabled hood. The ground floor includes two-light casements in wood frames as well as three-light metal casements in wood frames. On the first floor, there are two two-light casements with wood lintels, and the attic features three gabled dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
