Description
Number 3 and the cottage abutting to the right is a house and cottage at the end of a row, now functioning as one dwelling. It dates from the mid-18th century and features squared coursed ironstone on the front, with coursed ironstone rubble elsewhere. The building has steeply pitched thatched roofs and includes three brick ridge and end stacks. The layout consists of a two-unit plan and a one-unit plan, with two storeys throughout.
The façade has a total of three windows, with two entrances: a 20th-century door on the left and a plank door set in a moulded wood frame. The ground floor contains three 3-light metal casement windows within wood frames, featuring lead cames, wrought-iron casement fasteners, and iron bars, all topped with stone flat arches. The first floor mirrors this with three similar 3-light windows. The interior has not been inspected.
