Description
Stonecroft and No. 3 are two houses located on the west side of High Street in Cropredy, dating from the early to mid 18th century, with 20th-century alterations. The buildings are constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and squared, coursed ironstone, topped with a steeply pitched thatched roof and featuring two brick ridge stacks. Each house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall, with a two-window range.
For Stonecroft, the entrance on the right has a 20th-century door with a wooden lintel. To the left, there are two 3-light metal casement windows set in wooden frames. The first floor features two similar 2-light windows with lead cames. For No. 3, the entrance to the right also has a 20th-century door with a wooden lintel. To the left, there are three 3-light metal casements in wooden frames, with chamfered wooden lintels above. The first floor has two similar 2-light windows. The interiors have not been inspected.
