Description

Penny Fayre is a house located on Chapel Row in Cropredy. It was built in the mid to late 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The structure is made of coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched thatched roof with a brick ridge stack. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a two-window range. There are two entrances: a passage entrance on the left and a 20th-century door with a porch on the right.

On the ground floor, there are two three-light metal casement windows with wooden lintels, while the first floor has two two-light casements in wooden frames. Most of the windows are fitted with lead cames, crown glass, and wrought-iron casement fasteners. The interior has not been inspected.
