Description
This listing describes a barn, cottage, and stable range located approximately 5 meters northwest of The Limes in Shenington, dating from the 18th century. The small barn is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched corrugated iron roof, comprising three bays and a plank door with a wood lintel.
The cottage is built from squared, coursed ironstone and has a brick end stack. It is two storeys high with a two-window range. The entrance includes a plank door with an overlight and a keyblock stone head. The windows are two-light wood mullioned and transomed, while the first floor has a two-light wood casement with wood lintels. Inside, the cottage features chamfered beams and a staircase.
The stable is also made from squared, coursed ironstone rubble and has a corrugated iron roof, with a plank door that includes a wood lintel.
