Description
Ye Olde Manor House is a house dating from the 17th century, with additions and alterations from the 18th century. It has a gable end facing the road and consists of two builds. The exterior is made of coursed ironstone rubble and squared coursed ironstone, topped with a steeply pitched thatched roof. There are brick ridge and end stacks set on stone bases, and the stone coped gables feature moulded kneelers. The house is L-shaped, with two storeys plus an attic and a two-window range facing the road. The entrance has a 20th-century door, a stone flat arch, and a hood mould. Flanking the entrance are three-light renewed wood casements with stone flat arches, and there are two similar windows on the first floor. Above the entrance, there is a small round window in a stone frame, and the attic features renewed two-light wood casements. The left end of the house has two two-light stone mullioned windows with hood moulds. The interior has not been inspected.
