Description
The Cottage and the cottage abutting on the left are two cottages dating from the early 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. They are constructed of coursed, squared ironstone and feature a steeply pitched thatched roof with renewed brick end stacks. Each cottage has a single-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic.
The cottage on the left has an entrance to the right, which includes a plank door with a glazed panel and a painted wood lintel. To the left of the entrance is a double-glazed window and a double-glazed eyebrow dormer. There is also a thatched single-storey extension on the left end, which has a 20th-century window. The Cottage has a 20th-century door with a painted wood lintel and a 20th-century bay window on the right. Its eyebrow dormer features a two-light wood casement window, with each light containing 12 small panes. Additionally, there is a 20th-century flat-roofed single-storey rear extension. The interiors have not been inspected.
