Description

The Unicorn Hotel features a double gabled range located in the courtyard to the south. This outbuilding, likely once used for hotel accommodation, dates from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed of brick and roughcast, topped with a slate roof, and consists of a single storey plus an attic. The building has a two-unit plan, with a doorway on the left, a central three-light wooden window, and another doorway on the right on the ground floor. The attic storey includes a single wood mullioned and transomed window. The original interior plan remains intact.
