Description
This building, originally a house and now housing two shops, dates from the late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features brick end stacks. The building stands four storeys high and has a total of six windows across its façade. The ground floor has two 20th-century shop fronts. The first floor contains six sash windows, each with hoods, moulded stone surrounds, and cornices supported by consoles. The sash windows on the second and third floors have horns and moulded keystoned surrounds. Most windows are fitted with margin lights and have stone sills. A moulded stone eaves cornice runs below a rebuilt brick parapet. The ground floors have been remodelled in the 20th century. This building is included for its group value with nearby structures.
