Description
This building, located at 29 Church Street, is a pair of shops dating from the early 19th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate hipped roof with stacks positioned in front of and behind the ridge at the center. The building has three storeys and a boarded eaves cornice. The front has two windows, with tripartite glazing bar sashes; the first-floor sashes are adorned with paterae to the cornices. The left side has a late 20th-century shop front, while the right side features a late 19th-century shop front with a moulded entablature supported by elaborately carved consoles.
