Description
The Unicorn Hotel is an inn dating from the mid-17th century, with a later 18th-century addition on the left side. The right part of the building features a mix of construction materials, including a painted brick ground floor and a stuccoed first floor, topped with a slate roof and a brick ridge stack. The inn is two storeys high and has a single-window width. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows flanking the porch, while the first floor has a five-light casement window and a rendered casement window in the attic dormer. An external staircase leads to the left part of the building. Inside, notable features include a wooden winder stair, a blocked wooden mullioned window from the 17th century with original glass, a plank door, and stop-chamfered beams.
