Description

Carmel Lights The Store is a house and three shops dating from the early 19th century. The building has a stucco front with brick sides and stands three storeys high, featuring a two-window range. The ground floor has two 20th-century shop fronts. On the first floor, there are two tall pedimented casement windows set in stone frames, while the second floor has two smaller windows with cornices. The building is accented by rusticated quoins on the first and second floors and a moulded band at the second floor. It is topped with a plain parapet. Inside, there is a dogleg staircase.
