Description
Goblet Home Brew and the adjoining houses at No.49 and No.50 are two properties that were built in the 18th century and possibly earlier. They are constructed of brick with a stucco front and feature a slate roof. The buildings rise three storeys and have a three-window range. No.49 includes a wooden cased shop front, while No.50 has a 20th-century shop front. A narrow passage between the two properties provides access to the rear. The first floor has three sash windows with glazing bars arranged in a three-pane width, each with moulded wooden surrounds. The second floor features three smaller windows of a similar style. A moulded eaves cornice adds to the architectural detail. Inside No.49, part of the original staircase remains on the first floor, along with panelled doors and doorcases.
