Description
Marriott of Banbury is a house and shop dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a slate roof with brick end stacks. The building stands three storeys tall and has a three-window range. The shop front on the ground floor includes a curved window on the left side and two entrances. On the first floor, there is a curved four-pane wide sash window along with three and four-pane wide sash windows. The second floor has a curved three-pane wide sash window and two blocked windows. The roof is adorned with ornamental ridge tiles. At the rear, there is a range that runs at right angles to the main frontage, featuring a regularly coursed ironstone side wall and a brick end wall. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to have been altered around 1960. The building occupies a corner site.
