Description
The Cottage and Old Barn House is a house that possibly dates back to the 17th century and was remodeled in the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed from regularly coursed ironstone rubble and features a thatched hipped roof with three stone stacks on stone bases.
The Cottage, located on the right, is designed in an L-shape and has a single storey plus an attic. It has a central entrance that is flanked by 19th-century windows and includes a glass-roofed verandah. The door features a fanlight above it. In the attic, there is a segmental window, and on the ground floor, there are two-light casements with wooden lintels.
The Old Barn House, situated on the left, also has a single storey plus an attic and is arranged in a three-window range. There is a carriageway entrance to the left, with three three-light casements on the ground floor and two three-light casements in the attic.
The interiors have not been inspected.
