Description
Ivy Cottage, Prints Cottage, and Wackerfield are a row of three cottages, likely built in the 18th century. They are constructed from regularly coursed ironstone rubble. Ivy Cottage and Prints Cottage feature thatched roofs, while Wackerfield has a 20th-century tiled roof and a brick end stack. Ivy Cottage and Prints Cottage each have two stone stacks. The cottages are designed in a two- and three-unit plan and are all single storey with attics. The doors are from the 20th century, and the ground floors and attics have two- and three-light casement windows, some of which are fitted with wrought iron casement fasteners. Ivy Cottage has windows with keystoned surrounds, as well as eyebrow and swept dormers. The interiors have not been inspected. This row of cottages is located at a prominent corner site where Cumberford Hill meets South Newington Road.
