Description
Greenland Cottage and Leacroft are two cottages located on King's Road in Bloxham, likely dating from the 18th century. They are constructed from regular coursed ironstone rubble and feature thatched roofs.
Greenland Cottage has a single-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic. It has a brick stack on a stone base to the left, with a door on the right that includes a 20th-century thatched rustic porch. There is a 20th-century bay window to the left and a 20th-century casement window in the attic.
Leacroft also has a single-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic. It features a brick stack to the left and a 6-panelled door on the right with two glazed panels, framed by a plain wood surround and a 20th-century lintel. To the left, there is a 20th-century window and lintel, and a 2-light casement window in the attic. The part to the right has regular coursed ironstone rubble, a plain tile roof, and a brick ridge stack. This section has a 2-unit plan, single storey plus attic, with a 20th-century bay window to the left and a 20th-century casement window to the right, along with two 20th-century casements in the attic. The interiors have not been inspected. The cottages are included for their group value.
