Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched thatched roof with a brick ridge stack. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall, with a two-window range. There are two 20th-century windows on both the ground and first floors, each with wood lintels. The entrance is located at the left end of the house. Inside, there is a fireplace with a wood bressumer and beams. This house is included for its group value.
