Description

Old Cottages is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is built of coursed ironstone rubble and features a thatched roof, with a brick stack on the left and ironstone quoins on the left side. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic. The entrance consists of a plank door with a wooden framed surround and a tiled sloping hood supported on corbels. To the left of the door, there is a two-light casement window with a stone flat arch. On the first floor, there are one two-light and one single wooden casement window, both with wooden lintels. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
