Description
The shelter shed located southeast of the Tithe Barn dates back to 1719, as indicated by a datestone at the northwest corner. It features coursed ironstone rubble walls and a thatched roof. The structure consists of six bays, with all but the western bay open to the south. The ends of the trusses are supported by timber posts, and there are two doorways symmetrically positioned towards the outer ends of the north wall. The roof is half-hipped and supported by collar beam trusses with queen struts. Additionally, there is a long, narrow 19th-century addition of similar construction extending south from the southeast corner.
