Description
The shelter shed, likely built in the late 18th century, is located to the south-west of Oldhouse Farmhouse. It is constructed from rubble and features a corrugated iron roof. The structure consists of four bays, defined by rubble end walls and an open front supported by three columns. Inside, there are three sets of pegged heavy raking strut trusses that do not appear to have been machine-cut. The corrugated iron roof extends forward beyond the rubble columns. This shelter shed forms a cohesive group with the nearby farmhouse and barn, which are visually connected around a farmyard.
