Description
Meadow Cottage is a cottage dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone rubble, with some cement rendering on the right corner, and the right gable is made of old red brick. The roof is thatched with straw and features a brick stack at the right end. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a one-window range.
The entrance is located at the rear. On the ground floor, there are two three-light casements, with the left one being a 20th-century addition, both featuring glazing bars and wood lintels. An eyebrow dormer on the right includes an old two-light casement with many glazing bars. The rear of the cottage has an irregular appearance, and there is a plank door. The interior has not been inspected.
